Course Description:
This course provides information about federal oil pollution prevention regulations, and specifically the requirements for Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans and Facility Response Plans (FRPs). This course is intended for personnel who handle oil at their facilities and those who may be involved in oil spill response activities. When oil spills into the environment and reaches bodies of water, it can have harmful impacts on the environment, human health, and economic activity. The main objective of this session is to give you the information you need to help prevent, control, and respond to oil spills.
