FMLA for Supervisors

Course Description:

As we all know, many unforeseen events can occur in one’s life—events that can make juggling work life and personal life difficult.

This course focuses on these issues and their interaction with the Family and Medical Leave Act, or FMLA. The FMLA is a federal law that was specifically created to deal with family and medical situations.

Fortunately for you, most of the details and requirements of this law will be handled and administered by your organization’s Human Resources, or HR, department or other designated FMLA administrator. However, because the FMLA is a leave law, and because it provides important rights to the employees you manage every day, there are some elements of the law that you must understand, too.

Course Duration: 30 minutes
