Disaster Planning: What Employees Need to Know

Course Description:

Fires, extreme weather, hazardous chemical spills and releases, acts of terrorism, pandemics, explosions, and workplace violence. We don’t like to think about disasters happening, but the unfortunate reality is, they do happen―often bringing with them destruction, injuries, and sometimes even death. So, while we know we can’t stop many of these disasters from happening, there is a lot you can do to both help prevent some of them and reduce the catastrophic results of others. What it takes is planning so you’re never caught off guard. In this training session, we’re going to talk about what you can do to stay on your toes and know exactly what to do if a disaster strikes in your area. We have a lot to go over, so let’s get started.
